The bits are made from a high quality M2 high speed steel which are coated with a black and gold oxide for maximum corrosion resistance. The 135* split point allows for quick drilling that requires less force and reduces friction which makes them ideal for use in cordless drills and also reduces burs. The precision ground body allows the bit to stay sharp for approximately 25% longer than standard rolled bits. These bits really are a step up on the standard HSS bits for metal drilling
